Day 1
Arrive Jaisalmer — the living fort
Pickup at the station or airport and check-in. Afternoon inside Jaisalmer Fort, still lived in by around three thousand people, then Patwon Ki Haveli and sunset at Gadisar Lake.
Day 2
Sam Sand Dunes and departure
Morning at Bada Bagh and the abandoned village of Kuldhara, lunch, then out to the Sam dunes for a camel ride as the light drops. Drop back at Jaisalmer for a night train, or at camp if you are staying on.
