Tour plan

• Day 1

  Arrive Jaipur

  Pickup, check-in and a first evening in the old city.

• Day 2

  Jaipur to Jodhpur

  Amber Fort and the City Palace in the morning, then the highway south-west, reaching Jodhpur by evening.

• Day 3

  Jodhpur to Jaisalmer

  Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada, then the desert road via Osian. Evening at Gadisar Lake.

• Day 4

  Jaisalmer and the Sam dunes

  The living fort and Patwon Ki Haveli, Kuldhara in the afternoon, then camel ride and a night at a desert camp.

• Day 5

  Jaisalmer to Bikaner

  Across the Thar to Bikaner. Junagarh Fort in the afternoon and the camel breeding farm before dark.

• Day 6

  Bikaner to Mandawa, departure

  The Karni Mata temple at Deshnoke, then the painted havelis of Mandawa, and the drive back to Jaipur or on to Delhi.
