Tour plan

• Day 1

  Arrive Jodhpur

  Pickup, check-in, and the afternoon at Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada with sunset from the fort wall.

• Day 2

  Jodhpur to Jaisalmer

  Umaid Bhawan in the morning, then the desert road via Osian. Evening at Gadisar Lake and the fort lanes.

• Day 3

  Jaisalmer and the Sam dunes

  Patwon Ki Haveli, Kuldhara and Bada Bagh, then camel ride, folk music and dinner out on the Sam dunes.

• Day 4

  Jaisalmer to Bikaner

  North-east across the Thar. Afternoon at Junagarh Fort, one of the few Rajasthan forts never taken, and the old-city havelis.

• Day 5

  Departure

  The camel breeding farm and the Karni Mata temple at Deshnoke if you want it, then drop at Bikaner station or the drive on to Jaipur.
