Day 1
Arrive Udaipur
Pickup, check-in and an evening boat ride on Lake Pichola.

Udaipur sightseeing
City Palace and Crystal Gallery, Jagdish temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari and the Monsoon Palace at sunset.

Day 3
Udaipur to Kumbhalgarh
Up into the Aravallis for Kumbhalgarh Fort and its thirty-six kilometre wall. Night at the foot of the fort.

Day 4
Kumbhalgarh to Mount Abu
Ranakpur's Jain temple on the way down, then the climb to Mount Abu. Nakki Lake and Sunset Point in the evening.

Day 5
Mount Abu to Jaisalmer
The Dilwara temples early, then the long haul north-west into the Thar, arriving in Jaisalmer by evening.

Jaisalmer and the Sam dunes
The living fort, Patwon Ki Haveli and Bada Bagh, then camel ride, folk music and a night at a desert camp.

Day 7
Jaisalmer to Jodhpur
Sunrise at the dunes, then east via Osian. Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada in the late afternoon.

Departure
Umaid Bhawan or the clock-tower market, then drop at Jodhpur airport or station.
